Guitar & Theory with Blake Talley

Mon & Fri: 10a-8pm

Alice holds a Bachelors of Music in Education from MTSU, is a registered Suzuki Violin Instructor up to Book 2, and a certified Orff Music Level I Instructor. She focuses on teaching classical technique, combined with an emphasis on musicality and theory. When she is not teaching, she plays guitar and violin in various rock bands in Nashville and her hometown, Memphis. Her philosophy is that with disciplined practice, all children and adults can play music at a high level. If expectations are high, yet encouraged with patience and positivity, the results will be beautiful music!

Blake teaches guitar to all levels of students. After training in performance at Belmont University and with several years of local and national touring experience, he currently resides in Nashville. Blake is knowledgeable in music theory and the application of music theory to guitar. When he is not teaching, Blake works on multiple projects throughout the city with various rock/pop music groups and on commercial projects. Blake also enjoys spending his time volunteering and teaching summer camps for kids with Y.E.A.H. (Youth Empowerment through Arts and Humanities) Music program.
