Bio:

Mary Rodgers is a Nashville-based multi-instrumentalist, performer, composer, and educator. Originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Music (Saxophone) from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee in 2006, launching a teaching career that has spanned institutions including Lakeshore Conservatory, Cascio Interstate Music, TakeLessons.com, Fanny’s House of Music, Nashville Music Co., and Melodia Studio.

In 2013, Rodgers was honored with the Wisconsin Area Music Industry Award for Reed/Brass Player of the Year, recognized for her work with The Invaders, The Dead Man’s Carnival, and the Uptown Savages. She relocated to Nashville in 2015 and has since performed with a wide range of acclaimed artists, including JD McPherson, Ronnie Spector, Dale Watson, Hillbilly Casino, The Legendary Shack Shakers, Paul Burch & The WPA Ballclub, The Hi-Jivers, Marco With Love, and Chip Greene.

Rodgers released her debut full-length album, To The Ghost of Mary Rodgers…, in 2019, followed by the single Plant Your Own Seeds. She currently leads The Mary Rodgers Menagerie, performing at venues nationwide.
